Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California. The youngest and the only one daughter of Richard McCormick. Her parents were her mother, who was a housewife and a father who taught. Michael, Dennis and Kevin are her three older brothers. Beginning at a very early age, McCormick loved to sing and dance. She also often put on puppet shows for children in the community. When she won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was just six, Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency reached out to her and asked her if she would like to break involved in the world of showbusiness. McCormick's first big job was in 1964 when she appeared in an advertisement for Mattel's brand new toy "Baby Pattaburp." The following year, she did another commercial for the company's "Chatty the Cathy" doll. She was then included in the show"Wind It Up And It is Broken, performed at the The La Jolla Playhouse. McCormick was among of over 1,200 auditioning children, won the role of the oldest daughter of three twins as part of The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a newlywed couple. The show lasted for five seasons. McCormick disclosed in the book that was published in 2008, entitled Here's My Story: Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice in 2008, that Barry Williams was her screen brother. She was 16 years old at the time, while he was 19. "It was predicted to occur," said the woman, "but it never happened just at the right moment for us."
